Narrative
|
|
There are many other organizations that work on issues of sustainability. Although these
organizations may not have funding to assist communities, they frequently are able to provide
technical assistance. Although by no means a complete list, a few key resources are:
- President's Council on Sustainable Development
(PCSD)
- US Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Ecosystems and
Communities (OSEC)
- Center of Excellence for Sustainable Development
(CESD)
- International Institute for Sustainable Development
(ISSD)
- Redefining Progress
- International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI)
- Citizens Network for Sustainable Development
(CitNet)
- Center for Economic and Social Studies on the Environment
(CESSE)
