Narrative
|
|
Not far from Seattle is an area known as the South Puget Sound and the city
of Olympia. Some people in this area formed a group called the
Sustainable Community Roundtable and published a
document on indicators for their community. The document includes a number of brief stories of
what a sustainable community might look like and how people might live. They emphasized the
idea of carrying capacity and using local sources for fulfilling needs.
